Glaciers, endless winter

Glaciers, one of the sacred privileges of the high north.

Perched high up on the majestic Tystigbreen glacier, Stryn offers one of the most unique and breathtaking freeride and freestyle playgrounds on the planet. Here’s why we’re packing our bags for the ultimate summer glacier mission.

From Slushy Half-Pipes to Crisp Side Hits
When the summer sun hits the glacier, the hard-packed, icy morning runs quickly transition into the ultimate playground. The spring-like conditions and forgiving slush make it the perfect time to progress your riding.

The park crew in Stryn always sculpts an incredible half-pipe that’s perfect for throwing down and catching some serious air. But the fun certainly doesn't stop in the park. The entire mountain acts as a massive natural terrain park. Carve your way down the cat tracks and turn every windlip and roller into massive side hits.

Glacier riding is a totally different beast. You need a board that holds an edge on firm morning ice, yet floats and pops through soft afternoon corn snow.

Beyond the riding, there is nothing quite like the atmosphere up here. You can drop into a line with towering, snow-capped peaks in the background, all while enjoying panoramic views of the deep Norwegian fjords below. The vibe is laid back, the weather is mild, and the chairlift acts as your ticket to the very roof of Norway.

It’s always snowing somewhere, but right now, it’s all about the endless summer.
