Board guide

Looking forward to the season but not quite sure of the boards that fits? Here’s a easy guide line to explain the boards usages -both as solid and splits.

If you choose the resort the option gives it self, if the unridden terrain with a little effort is the chosen one, the split should be the option.

Solid / Split

We take hight of making boards that leaves an experience in use every time and in every conditions. Our location, the Sunnmøre alps, where we are surrounded by great peaks for inspiration and developing boards with the riding characteristics we assume provides the most value for its shape.

The versions of the boards has the same characteristics, specs and shape - this way you have the board that you are used to in the resort also in the great back country. Lightweight for the hike, trusty for the ride.

Shapes

High performance boards both for the powder and the slopes. All boards to be categorized as all mountain / all terrain, with different riding characteristics. The Shapes and outline is made to make the most out of everything and to leave a satisfaction.

Selection

To make dissection easier here’s a few lines of the unique boards. One board for all, thats the most common thought and also the MT 1365 also covers the most common riding style. This board provides a unique control  in every conditions. If you prefer the freestyle way of it, it has all the specs for the way of riding, landing, spinning - hard packed snow or powder. This model comes in several lengths and fits the most type of riders.

If you prefer a little more surfy feel, kind of more cruise type of riding without going on demand of the precise and trusty ride, the MT 1542^ has the shape to follow the wave. Its unique sidecut, early rise nose, rocker swallow tail - provides a very quick response and super fast on edge to edge. It has all need of characteristic for the float but its amazingly quick turning also provides a board for the slopes. Carving or high speed, its keeps the satisfaction throughout every turn on any type of snow conditions.

The shorter, MT 1180/Hokkaido with wider measurements does also perform in all terrain - powder, park, slopes. It feels way longer than it is for sure when going straight forward, the shapes comes to live when cut trough tree lines, quick lines, high/low speed in the slopes or whatever. It takes it all, you have a board with a fast radius, a lot of taper - rocker nose and low camber. It stick trough out the turning, in bigger sides, steep hills or even in the park. It gives satisfaction even if the conditions dont match up.

MT 1230 is much of a true twin with a responsive shape for all mountain use. You find pleasure of the outline and shape both trough pillows down the powder side or hitting the pipe. A allrounder.

If you can’t decide, ride them all!
